We are a UAE based refiner with a global reach. Every year, we supply more than 40 million tons of high-quality refined products to markets around the world. We have been operating in Abu Dhabi for more than 40 years, playing a crucial role in serving both the ADNOC Group and the United Arab Emirates. Our facilities are jointly able to refine nearly a million barrels of crude oil and condensates per day.
We operate the world's fourth-largest single-site refinery in the town of Ruwais in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and managed by a highly experienced international workforce. Its unique location allows us to rapidly meet our clients' needs across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Domestically, we operate a pipeline network spanning 1,600 kilometres to ensure that local customers are supplied on demand.
Since 2019 we have operated as a joint venture business with the European energy firms Eni and OMV. The partnership continues to help us enhance our range of products and services. We also work closely with other ADNOC companies based in Ruwais to ensure that we can fulfil almost any client request.
As a forward-looking refiner, we invest heavily in research and development. Since 2009 we have been operating a research center dedicated to expanding our scientific understanding and developing the latest technology.
