The AI Lab is where ADNOC turns ideas into impact. Here, data scientists, engineers, and domain experts work side by side to prototype, test, and deploy solutions that make energy production smarter, safer, and more sustainable. Each proof of concept advances real-world performance—whether predicting equipment health before failure, optimizing drilling efficiency, or balancing energy flows to lower carbon intensity.

The Lab’s agile approach allows us to accelerate the journey from concept to deployment by a factor of three, with 15 active proofs of concept and three breakthrough programs under development at any time. This is where insight becomes intelligence—and intelligence becomes measurable results.

The ADNOC AI Lab is not a research facility in isolation; it is a production-grade environment designed for rapid scaling. Once an AI solution demonstrates measurable value, it is handed to our operational teams and integrated across ADNOC’s network of assets through platforms such as Panorama 2.AI, ENERGYai, and the AI Marketplace. Each success becomes part of a growing ecosystem of interoperable models that continuously sense, predict, decide, act, and learn—creating a self-improving operating system for energy.

This approach transforms AI from a set of pilots into a living system that scales enterprise-wide. It turns local breakthroughs into standard practice and embeds intelligence into the flow of work across every site and shift.

RockInsight is an AI-powered solution that helps us analyze oil and gas reservoirs buried deep beneath the surface. The solution visualizes every subsurface rock grain and pore in detail and provides high-precision results – accelerating analysis, enhancing efficiency and optimizing resources.

Coordinating shipments demands the highest level of precision. Our AI-powered Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) supports vessel planners by providing optimal route options – enabling them to make proactive, data-driven decisions.

It streamlines delivery of equipment to over 90 offshore locations, coordinating over 60 vessels for thousands of deliveries.

Previously, route planning for a single vessel took hours; with ILMS, it now takes seconds, optimizing routes, reducing delivery times, and ensuring smooth operations. This efficiency has also cut carbon emissions by up to 30%.
