Maximum Energy. Minimum Emissions
Our 2030 Sustainability Strategy and ambitions set out how we continue to ensure sustainable operations and practices across the businesses, communities, and environments in which we operate.
We adopt a proactive and adaptive marketing model and are developing new trading capabilities to better meet the growing demand for oil, gas and refined products around the world.
This US$ 600 million (AED 2.2 BN) project will revolutionize power and water generation at our General Utilities Plant in Ruwais.
ADNOC Sour Gas plays an important role in delivering ADNOC's 2030 strategy.
We operate Shah Gas Plant, the world’s largest ultra-sour gas operation, with the capacity to produce 1.28 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day and 4.2 million tons of sulphur per year.
Shah includes gas processing facilities, and a sulphur granulation plant that features four of the largest sulphur recovery units in the world.
ADNOC Sour Gas is currently the only company in the world that processes more than 1 BCFD of ultra-sour gas (H2S > 23%) from a single gas plant.
The company is also the world’s largest producer of granulated sulphur producing about 5% of the world's total production.
We also have the capacity to produce Condensate, Ethane and NGL. All products except sulphur are delivered to ADNOC group companies for further processing or distribution to domestic consumers.
Granulated sulphur is transported by rail to the Ruwais Terminal for export.
ADNOC Sour Gas is unique within ADNOC in that it operates with an integrated single-field approach that covers upstream, midstream and downstream activities.
