ADMO Statement: Three Fires at Borouge Plant Contained with No Injuries Reported

  • The Abu Dhabi Media Office (ADMO) confirmed three fires broke out following an incident at Borouge petrochemicals plant caused by falling debris from a successful interception by air defences.
  • Emergency response teams acted swiftly to bring the situation under control and the incident resulted in no injuries.
  • Damage has occurred at the site and an assessment is ongoing.

ADMO Statement: One Individual Died, Four Injured during Evacuation of Habshan Gas Facilities

  • The Abu Dhabi Media Office (ADMO) confirmed two fires broke out at Habshan gas facilities caused by falling debris following a successful interception by air defence systems.
  • Emergency response teams acted swiftly to bring the situation under control.
  • As a result of the incident, one Egyptian national tragically lost his life during the evacuation of the site. In addition, four individuals sustained minor injuries.
  • Significant damage occurred at the facilities and an assessment is ongoing.
