INCREASING POTENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR UAE BASED MANUFACTURING
ADNOC is working on the standardization of engineering standards and specifications across ADNOC Group Companies with the objective of decreasing the variability of the products procured by ADNOC.
This will allow UAE-based manufacturers to better direct their production capability, capacity and investments to ADNOC’s specific product requirements. In addition, standardizing should lead to consolidated demand from ADNOC for products, which offers opportunities for greater economies of scale for UAE based manufacturers.
To date, 41 engineering standards and specifications have been standardized, relating to civils, structural steel, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, piping and valves, pipelines and other products and disciplines.
