Director and ChairpersonAhmed Al Shamsi is an experienced Senior Vice President in the ADNOC Finance & Investment Directorate, who specializes in the ever-evolving energy sector with an over 18-year career history in the fields of strategy planning, corporate transformation, financial control, management & cost accounting, statutory reporting, and robust investor relations.
Ahmed Al Shamsi excelled as a CEO for a prominent ADNOC Group Real Estate Entity and as a trusted member of board and audit committees for different entities within ADNOC Group.
He started his career in ADNOC Distribution in 2006 with various leadership capacities in both financial and management accounting fields. After successfully completing the first ever IPO in ADNOC history as project PMO, Ahmed Al Shamsi joined ADNOC HQ Finance in 2019 and has played a vital role in the transformation of the financial closing, consolidation, and reporting for ADNOC Group to be in line with the best in class in financial reporting towards new investment deals and future financial re-structuring.
Ahmed Al Shamsi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the UAE University and a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from Canadian University in Dubai.
