You can seek your company's registration with ADNOC in one or more categories of suppliers as under:

Note:  Supplier is a general term used by ADNOC, which covers all types of Supplies of Products and Services as under:

  1. "VENDOR"- Supplier of Products
This category covers all trading companies/local suppliers of products. You may be either a representative/agent/distributor for a Principal Company (who is in turn based outside the Emirates of Abu Dhabi) OR simply a Stockist based in Abu Dhabi OR both. This category covers supply and installation of products.
  2. "CONTRACTOR" - Supplier of Contracting/Consultancy Services
This category covers all Contractors and/or Consultants who provide services of Contractual nature, viz. you may be a Construction / Refurbishment / Maintenance Contractor OR a Consultant OR a Manpower Supplier based in Abu Dhabi.
  3. Local Manufacturer in UAE
This category covers who possess appropriate industrial licenses issued in an Emirate of UAE.

Please check carefully the licenses requirement for each category.

Q4.   What are the steps for registration of our company with ADNOC?

Step 1: Submit an introductory letter along with licenses (as per registration requirement).

Step 2: Collect the Pre-qualification Questionnaire (for the category which you want registration) which are complete with explanatory notes & guidelines and list of products (Product Groups/PG) & Services (Work Groups/WG).

Step 3: Complete Pre-qualification Questionnaire documents and submit to us on any registration day.

Step 4: Once your company's submittal is evaluated and accepted, then your company will be registered with a status called "CANDIDATE" in the ADNOC Commercial Directory.

Step 5: Depending on ADNOC requirement, ADNOC shall conduct a Site Survey of your company when a team of specialists from ADNOC shall visit your company facilities. Based on the assessment/evaluation of the "Survey Team", your company will be recommended to ADNOC "Supplier Evaluation Committee" (SEC) for pre-qualification.

Note: ADNOC will prepare/guide you through the site survey process.  You must ensure that the right level of concerned personnel from your side is involved in this process so that your company can obtain maximum benefit.

Step 6: Depending on the nature of the site survey result, your company will be upgraded to "Qualified" status in ADNOC Commercial Directory

Q5.   How long will it take to complete the registration?

It really depends on the quality and completeness of your submittal.  It may take between 2 weeks to 2  months in a normal case to reach the "Candidate" status.

Q6.   We are already a registered/pre-qualified company with ADNOC.  How do we add new Principals or new services or new experiences in our records with you?

During the open time on each Sunday between 9 AM and 11 AM you can just walk in without any prior appointment and ask for the relevant forms.

Q7.   What do we achieve by SEC Pre-qualification?

The purpose of SEC pre-qualification is to have a techno-commercial assessment of your company in our records/system. This will enable the end users to assess your company's capabilities as and when they need to identify companies.

Q8.   Do we get automatically included in the Bidders List?

Please note that a specific pre-qualification exercise is undertaken by the User at the time of tendering to confirm/re-assess the interest and capability of the company to provide the products/services required, as per ADNOC procedures.
