The Group Nationals Recruitment Department was established with the objective of maximizing the percentage of UAE national work force in ADNOC’s Group of Companies.

It has designed a full fledged plan aimed at encouraging and preparing UAE nationals to join the oil industry.

Today, GNRD is regarded as a leading source of employment for UAE Nationals within ADNOC and its Group of Companies.

The GNRD applies an efficient strategy in its employment program in which the right qualifications and meeting the companies need for technical people plays the central role.

In its first five-year plan from 1999 to 2004, the GNRD managed to raise the national workforce in ADNOC and its group of companies from 23% to 50%, and plans to increase the national workforce to 75% by 2017.
